After-School Golf
& Mandarin Program
Every Monday for 8 weeks
starting: Feb 2 – March 30
This after-school program is for young students to learn the game of golf and combines lessons and practice in golf simulator environment while also providing Mandarin tutoring and homework assistance. Students will rotate through stages of short iron/game, long iron/woods, a putting section and designated tutoring and homework time. School pickup (at Adobe Bluff Elementary School) and drop-off are available for families who need it. Kids stay active and have time to work on homework while continuing to learn golf and Mandarin after school.
About the Program
Golf Practice
• Basic grip, stance, posture, and simple swing Movements
• Putting fundamentals and putting games
• Indoor simulator time with real shots, aiming drills, and distance-control games
• Fun challenges that help kids build coordination and confidence
Mandarin Tutoring (Simplified & Pinyin)
• Reading, writing, vocabulary, and help with school assignments
• Small group setting with individual attention
• Open to both beginners and experienced kids.

This program is specifically designed for students of Adobe Bluffs Elementary School, ideal ages 6–11 or those in 1st through 5th grade. Students from higher grades or different schools please contact Allen for more information.

No, clubs are provided. If your child has their own clubs, they’re more than welcome to bring them.

Yes, we will have granola bars, bananas, apple slices, and water available. Students are also welcome to bring their own snacks. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies.

Golf attire is not required, but athletic clothing and comfortable shoes are highly recommended.

Unfortunately, there are no make-ups or refunds for missed sessions.

The van departs at 2:35 PM. If a student is not in the van by that time, they will miss the school pickup; however, parents are welcome to drop off their child directly at our golf facility to join the program.

We offer a 30-minute grace period. Pickup at our golf facility is until 5:30 PM, and pickup at Trader Joe’s is until 6:00 PM. A $25 late pickup fee will be charged for any time beyond the grace period.

Students will develop a solid understanding of golf fundamentals, including grip, posture, and stance. They’ll also learn basic swing mechanics and proper putting techniques.

We welcome all skill levels, so no prior golf experience is needed.

Students are only allowed to swing golf clubs in designated hitting bays. Safety rules are taught during the first lesson. Any student who does not follow the safety rules will receive a warning and parents will be notified. Repeated violations may result in removal from the program, and fees will not be refundable.
